Creventic Endurance Championship Race 1 Mugello

Creventic Endurance Championship Race 1 29.03.2025 12h Mugello Another podium in the season opener Free practice sessionThe free practice session went very well. We were able to use the time to refocus on our strategy and pit stops and also to practise our qualifying stint again. QualifyingQualifying was a big challenge for us. It started to rain shortly after the start of qualifying. The track was still too dry to drive on wet tyres, but the conditions on the track were getting worse by every minute. That’s why it was important to set a lap as quickly as possible before the conditions got too bad. Unfortunately, this meant we only had one lap and even that was very difficult to drive. We qualified 7th on the grid.

Creventic Endurance Series GT4 2024 Finale 14.12.2024 Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps Last to First Free Practice Session Our preparation this time was very limited as the schedule was pretty tight. In addition, we switched from the Aston Martin to the Mercedes AMG shortly before the race for performance reasons. However, it quickly became clear that we could be right up there at the front. Qualifying My team-mate Daniel Kramski drove the qualifying session. Unfortunately, we had technical problems with the car, which threw a spanner in the works during qualifying. We were able to set one lap, but it was far off our actual pace. So we started the race in 16th place. Race My team-mate Daniel Kramski drove the start of the race. When I took over the car after 2 hours, we were already in 3rd place. In my first two stints, I was able to build up a strong pace and move up to 2nd place. After 2 stints, I handed the car over to my team-mate David König, who continued my way forward and made up some time on the leader. In my next two stints I was able to catch up and even overtake the leading car. 2 hours before the end of the race, I was finally told ‘You are now leading the race’. We had close duels with the second-placed car right up to the last lap, but in the end we were able to hold on to the lead and finish the race in first place. Recap We look back on a successful debut in the Creventic Endurance Series. We finished on the podium in 3 out of 4 races, securing 3rd place in the overall standings.
