24 Hours of Nürburgring 2025

24 hours Nürburgring 2025 07-08.06.2025 My first podium in the 24-hour race on the Nordschleife Last year, we had a great qualifying session and a great start to the race and led the field for a long time. Unfortunately, we had an accident that not only cost us the overall victory, but also the podium. This year, however, we were able to prevail. Qualifying Qualifying was tough, we weren’t exactly fast with the AMG due to the BoP, especially not compared to the BMW. So we started the race in 7th place with an Aston Martin and 6 BMWs in front of us. Race We also noticed the uneven distribution of the cars at the start. We lost 7th place on the very first lap and dropped back to eighth place. We were able to make up time on the cars behind us in the first two hours, but also lost time to the cars in front of us. In my first two stints, I was able to make up a lot of time and overtake two cars in a fight. The further we got into the race, the faster our pace became compared to the others. Especially at night, we were able to really show what we could do and were by far the fastest car in our class. As in the night, we were also pretty fast in the wet hours and were able to make up time and fight our way through the field. In the end, we were able to hold on to 3rd place, which none of us would have expected at the start of the race.

Creventic Endurance Championship Race 2 Spa-Francorchamps

Creventic Endurance Championship Rennen 2 03.05.2025 12h Spa-Francorchamps Tough race / Strong comeback Free practice session We were able to build up a very strong pace in preparation for the race. We were fast and knew we had the pace to keep up with the podium places. Qualifying Qualifying was not entirely on our side. Unfortunately, we didn’t manage a perfect lap and qualified in 8th place with a 02:28.767. Not the starting position we had hoped for, but we knew that our strength lay in race pace and not qualifying pace. Rennen The start of the race went quite well for us. We were able to attack on the first lap and make up a position. Shortly afterwards, however, the tide turned. We were hit in the rear by a Gt3 (car not in our class) above Au Rouge and catapulted into the wall at full speed. Our entire rear end was damaged, which is why we had to come into the pit lane early to repair the damage. It was a very frustrating moment for all of us, as there was nothing we could have done to prevent the accident. It was just a bad situation and the GT3 had seen us too late. After the unscheduled stop, we came back into the race in 12th place, one lap down on 11th place, but we didn’t give up and continued the race, gradually fighting our way back up to 11th, then 10th and finally 9th. After 12 adrenalin-fuelled hours, we were able to finish the race in 7th place. We dropped back to 4th place in the championship, but it could definitely have been worse.

GT3 Swiss Championship – finale

Final FIA GT3 Swiss Championship 17.04.2025 Portimao 4th place in the team rankings Free practice sessionThe preparations for the race went very well. I knew the track, I knew the car, it was just a matter of learning the combination of the two. I think the biggest challenge was tyre management. The track has a lot of right-handers, which means that the left-hand tyres are under a lot of force and therefore wear out more quickly. QualifyingQualifying went well, although not perfectly. I was able to set two fast laps and secure 8th place on the grid for the race. RaceThe start of the race went great. I made up a position on the start-finish straight and fought my way up to 7th place. I then made a small mistake in the third corner and was overtaken again. But just half a lap later I was able to attack again and regain 7th place. From then on, the eighth-placed driver was constantly close behind me but couldn’t get past me. Our pit stop strategy was excellent and I was able to gain a 4-second lead over the car behind me through the pit stop alone and thus finish the race comfortably in 7th place. This allowed us to maintain our lead in the team standings in the final race and secure 4th place in the overall team standings.
