Creventic Endurance Series GT4 2024 Finale 14.12.2024 Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps

Creventic Endurance Series GT4 2024 Finale 14.12.2024 Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps Last to First Free Practice Session Our preparation this time was very limited as the schedule was pretty tight. In addition, we switched from the Aston Martin to the Mercedes AMG shortly before the race for performance reasons. However, it quickly became clear that we could be right up there at the front. Qualifying My team-mate Daniel Kramski drove the qualifying session. Unfortunately, we had technical problems with the car, which threw a spanner in the works during qualifying. We were able to set one lap, but it was far off our actual pace. So we started the race in 16th place. Race My team-mate Daniel Kramski drove the start of the race. When I took over the car after 2 hours, we were already in 3rd place. In my first two stints, I was able to build up a strong pace and move up to 2nd place. After 2 stints, I handed the car over to my team-mate David König, who continued my way forward and made up some time on the leader. In my next two stints I was able to catch up and even overtake the leading car. 2 hours before the end of the race, I was finally told ‘You are now leading the race’. We had close duels with the second-placed car right up to the last lap, but in the end we were able to hold on to the lead and finish the race in first place. Recap We look back on a successful debut in the Creventic Endurance Series. We finished on the podium in 3 out of 4 races, securing 3rd place in the overall standings.

Creventic Endurance Series GT4 2024 (3) 09.11.2024 Misano World Circuit

24 hours of Nürburgring 17-19.05.2024

24 hours of Nürburgring 17-19.05.2024 Top 5 despite crash Qualifying Qualifying was driven by one of my team-mates. The lap was good, but not sensational. So it was only good enough for 8th place on the grid. We were satisfied with this result, after all we still had 24 hours to improve this position. Race The start of the race went really well. We made up a lot of places at the start and after just a few hours we were already in first place. As a team, we had a very fast and consistent pace, so we were able to constantly extend our lead and leave the competition behind us. When I came in for my first stint in the race, we were already 34 seconds behind second place. I felt very comfortable in the car and was able to drive at the limit without pushing too hard and pull out a gap of 2 minutes and 5 seconds on second place. When I handed the car back to my team-mate, I unfortunately had to watch the tragic accident. When we were overtaken by a car from another class, there was contact and we followed head-on into the wall. – What a disaster! Once we arrived in the pits, we had a repair time of around 25 minutes, which not only cost us the win, but also the top 5 position. After the repairs, we came back into the race in 8th place. We stayed there for quite a while. I tried to get everything I could out of the car during my stints. The last 6 hours of the race in particular were very driving intensive and also very exhausting for me. I first drove a double stint (2 hours), then I had a stint (one hour) break before I went on a triple stint (3 hours) and finally the race ended. In the end, we were still able to finish the race in 5th place, which none of us would have thought after the accident. 24-hour races are unpredictable and anything can happen at any time. Nevertheless, it was a nice race and it’s good to know that we were fast. Because the fastest race lap and the fastest average lap time were ours, which makes us all very proud. I would like to thank my team-mates and the whole team for this wonderful and nerve-wracking race in the Eifel.
